this is going to be another memorial invitation thread.. before i get to the topic at hand, i want to quickly sound off on the invitation itself.

i had seen it online weeks before the jws came with a special invitation, so the content wasnt really news to me.

however, when i held it in my hand, i couldnt help but be disgusted by the joke of an invitation that flimsy small piece of paper was.. if you are going to invite strangers to the biggest celebration of your religion, please do not hand out what looks like pieces of scrap tissue paper.

i was just directed to a great website lettersofnote.com that contains many famous and interesting letters.

one is from huxley to orwell, and displayed at 1984 vs brave new world.

huxley made the following prediction in 1949 on how a government can control its followers, which seems to align with the methods used by the governing body.. .

@jwfacts: No, Not pushing it at all, they force feed us by cramming "love" down our throats.

@00DAD: I agree, everything is set in place for conditioning, and if we don't get every part it doesn't work. Meat-ing just don't have the same effect if you aren’t there for the first note of the song to the amen of the closing prayer; just like hypnosis doesn't work if you miss any part of it.

They don't have to explain anything, they're witlesses and we all know God's people never get anything wrong, so whatever they say is right even if their is no evidence and it makes no sense at all.

well friends guess what out of the blue the cobe turned up at my retail unit today, and cancelled the meeting didn't really say why, but invited me to the memorial and reminded me that i didn't go last yr wow feels like a get of jail free card, thanks to all for your advice and well wishes .
